I have a history with this band that goes way, way back. I saw Tower of Power play the Paramount in Oakland back in 1975, the first of many times over the years. They’ve been doing an annual run at Yoshi’s, we went the night before an accident that disabled drummer David Garibaldi and bassist Mark Van Wageningen, and putting their tour on hold.
