Made friends with a new road today.

Had to miss the group ride today, managed to get out for a solo spin.

I knew it would be a gray day, but the afternoon winds surprised me.

It is riding season in NorCal!

Enjoyed riding this morning with the usual group of suspects.

I was wrong about Cyclesports rides - maybe not wrong, but a bit early.

Cold at the start, just on the edge of tolerable.

...but it was a little slick, so I made it a point not to go fast on curves or downhill. My front wheel caught a ridge as I was climbing Tunnel Road, causing my apple watch to trigger an alert that I'd fallen. I rolled easily off the bike and onto the pavement, no...

On Christmas morning, perhaps my final ride of the year, I hit the mark of 4,000 miles ridden in 2022.
