Bay Area Photography Blog — Behind the Scenes of Recent Projects

This is where I share the stories behind the work — a mix of paid client shoots, volunteer projects, and personal photography from around the Bay Area and Northern California. Some posts walk through a corporate shoot for a company I was hired by; others are recaps from a photography workshop I led at a local park; others are just me chasing good light on a weekend with no client involved at all. Together they’re a running record of where I’ve been shooting and what I’ve learned along the way.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Client work — behind-the-scenes from corporate headshot sessions, business portrait shoots, and event photography gigs across San Francisco, Oakland, and the greater Bay Area
  • Workshop recaps — real sessions from my Northern California photography workshops, including locations, what the group worked on, and a few standout shots from participants
  • Volunteer and community projects — shoots I’ve taken on for local organizations, nonprofits, and individuals, often for the experience or the cause as much as the paycheck
  • Personal and environmental work — unpaid, unassigned photography around the region’s parks, trails, and coastline, shot purely for the craft
