I had opportunity to do some work at one of the most iconic buildings in the San Francisco skyline. Olson Steel was hired to retrofit the steel skeleton of the Transamerica Pyramid’s tip. O was hired to document their work in still photos and video. Climbing to the very top, where a beacon is situated, was exhilarating, given the panoramic views it provides. Looking back, I wish I had opportunity to spend more time there, but the crew’s work schedule dictated otherwise.
