2019 will stand out in my memory as one of the most enjoyable baseball seasons for a variety of reasons. That year, on Greek-American Heritage Night, my friend and former co-coach Chris Kyriacou was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Coliseum. He did it right: acknowledged the crowd, took the mound, checked the imaginary runner, and delivered a strike.
